Xuluprophet Live at Desposito’s Seafood

Date: Sunday, June 29
Time: 5 PM–9 PM
Venue: Desposito’s Seafood Restaurant, 3501 MacCeo Dr, Thunderbolt, GA 31404

Looking for authentic things to do in Savannah? Xuluprophet brings an electrifying riverfront concert to Thunderbolt’s historic Desposito’s Seafood this Sunday. Think psychedelic funk, roots reggae, swampy groove, and original music—all streamed live off the docks. Brought to you by the power trio: Xulu Jones (guitar, bass, vocals), Oisin Daly (bass, guitar, vocals), and Rhett Rabbit (drums), this lineup delivers a soulful, instrument-swapping show that’s both creative and raw.

This isn’t just another gig. Desposito’s is a community staple—formerly Walton’s Seafood market, turned family-run restaurant dockside for decades. Each dish mirrors the live music: fresh, flavorful, swamp-grown. Vendors will offer Savannah-made hot sauce, handcrafted art, resin goods, and spirits from River Street Liquor. It’s a local ecosystem—food, music, makers—powered by Kairos Strategic, Savannah’s connector between culture and commerce.

If you’ve been searching for “live music tonight in Savannah,” “best original music Savannah,” or “psychedelic funk near me,” this event checks every box. Plus, it’s free, family-friendly, and boat-friendly. Come for a full evening of dockside dancing, flavors, and community vibe.

Useful Info:
• No cover charge • Free and open to all ages
• Parking available behind the restaurant and on side streets
• Bring a lawn chair or just stand riverside and let the music move you
• Support local vendors—perfect for gifts or personal indulgence

June 20 – Xuluprophet Full Band at Snug Irish Pub, Savannah

Back in the heart of the city, we’re hitting Snug Irish Pub with the full band for a night that blends bass-heavy grooves, lyrical fire, and raw soul. Located in the Midtown area, Snug has become a gathering spot for people who want something real—not just a night out, but a reason to move. June 29 – Xuluprophet at Desposito’s Seafood, Wilmington Island

We’re wrapping the month at one of the most legendary local joints around--Desposito’s Seafood on Wilmington Island. This is more than a gig—it’s a reunion. Locals know Desposito’s for the shrimp, the beer, the dock, and the vibe. We’re bringing a full band set to match that energy with deep roots and live rhythm. A perfect Saturday plan if you’re visiting from Charleston, Bluffton, or even coming down from the islands.

Stay Ready So You Ain’t Gotta Get Ready: Summer Show Survival Guide for the Xuluprophet Tribe

When the heat cranks up and the shows move outside, that’s when the real ones step up. But outdoor concerts ain’t all sunshine and vibes—you gotta be ready for the grind. If you’re coming to see Xuluprophet this summer—whether it’s at Starland Yard, Tybee Island, or some deep spot in the Lowcountry—you need to think like a road-tested warrior.

□ What to Bring to a Summer Concert (Don’t Slack)

  • Refillable Water Bottle – Stay hydrated. Most venues offer refills.
  • Portable Phone Charger – Stay connected for GPS, emergencies, and content.
  • Bandana or Headwrap – Sweat protection, sun defense, and pure style.
  • Snacks or Energy Bars – Keep your energy up without paying vendor prices.
  • Sunscreen (High SPF) – Protect your skin. Every. Single. Time.
  • Rain Poncho or Trash Bag – Southern weather is wild. Be prepared.
  • Small First Aid Kit – Band-Aids, antiseptic, aspirin—just in case.
  • ID and Cash (in a zip bag) – Tech fails. Be old school smart.
  • Earplugs – We hit hard. Protect your ears and enjoy the ride.
  • A Plan to Get Home – Don’t guess. Know your exit strategy.

⚠️ Emergency Contingencies (Think Like a Headliner, Not a Rookie)

  • Check the Weather – Don’t get caught out. Radar is your friend.
  • Set a Meetup Spot – Phones die. Know where to regroup.
  • Know the Nearest Exit & First Aid – Know before the chaos.
  • Hydrate and Rest – Signs of heat stroke: dizziness, nausea, cold skin. Don’t ignore it.
  • Be Your Brother’s Keeper – We take care of our tribe.

□ Final Word from Xulu:

Ain’t no show worth your life. Music is meant to move you, not knock you out. So prep like you give a damn. We bring our best to the stage—bring your best to the crowd.

This summer, be the reason somebody made it home safe. That’s real tribe energy.

From Stage to Showroom: Xuluprophet’s Drummer Rhett Coleman Now at Savannah Toyota

□ Rhett Coleman Is Rolling Forward—From the Drum Kit to the Driver’s Seat □

If you’ve ever seen a Xuluprophet set live—if you’ve felt the rhythm slam into your chest, locking you into a groove that won’t let go—then you already know what Rhett Coleman brings to the table. He’s been the heartbeat of the band, a master of the pocket, and a brother in every sense of the word. And now, he’s bringing that same fire and energy to a new stage: Savannah Toyota.

That’s right. Rhett is now a member of the Savannah Toyota sales team, and we couldn’t be more proud. This isn’t some random pivot. This is a real move, with real stakes. He’s leveling up—and he’s ready to help YOU do the same.

□ Fans of the Band, This Is for You □

We know our community. We know what it means to support one another. If you’ve ever bought a ticket, streamed a song, or stood in the crowd singing along—you’re already part of the tribe. And now Rhett is ready to return that energy by hooking up fans with real deals on new and used Toyotas.

Used Toyotas are among the most reliable, high-resale-value vehicles on the road. Whether you’re gigging across the southeast or just trying to make your day-to-day commute a little smoother, Rhett can help you find something that won’t break down—or break the bank.

Corollas, Camrys, Tacomas, RAV4s—new and pre-owned inventory is moving fast, and Rhett knows the game. He’ll help you navigate it with zero BS and 100% integrity. You walk in and say, “I’m with Xuluprophet,” and he’ll take care of the rest.

□ Why Rhett? Why Now?

Because this is about elevation. Because community should mean something. Because Rhett is the same dude you’ve seen crushing sets all over Savannah and Tybee Island, from Starland Yard to El Rocko. He’s not walking away from the music—he’s adding tools to the toolbox. Just like we all should.

We’ve always said this band is about more than just sound. It’s about movement, hustle, and support. Rhett is stepping into this new role with all that same spirit. Let’s show up for him like he’s shown up for us—beat after beat, show after show.

□Where to Find Him

Savannah Toyota
11101 Abercorn St, Savannah, GA 31419
Ask for Rhett Coleman—tell him Xuluprophet sent you.

Need help financing? Trading in? Just browsing? He’s got you.

Let’s keep building, keep rolling, and keep showing up for each other.
--Xulu Jones
