Over a Decade of Open Jam in Savannah

The Jam Night at Barrelhouse South has been running for over ten years, with only a short pause during the COVID shutdown. In that time, countless musicians from Savannah GA and beyond—stretching as far as Nepal, Bangladesh, and South Africa—have stepped onto the stage. For many, Jam Night has been where bands formed, collaborations started, and new sounds took shape. It’s more than a session—it’s a community tradition that defines Savannah’s live music scene.
