Low Country Oscillations has provided at home at The Wormhole bar for lovers of underground and alternative electronic music for 9 years now. From monthly meetups of local and regional DJs spinning everything from House, Breakbeats, Drum n Bass, Experimental Bass and more to hosting headliners such as Deekline, AK1200 and DJ Dara it’s fair to say LCO has been instrumental in keeping the scene alive and bridging the gap from the Old Skool heads who grew up skateboarding and spinning vinyl in the 90s to the up and coming bedroom producer generation.
Founded by Oisin Daly Obamabo/Colonial FX/Oceanman. Shortly after moving to Savannah from Ireland he found a fractured EDM scene and wanted to help resurrect it, making it something more akin to the bustling electronic scene in his home country. In the years since the scene has regrown with collectives like NSFW and Basshole regularly selling out Wormhole and throwing events all over town. Also the addition of new clubs and venues such as Elan has put Savannah more on the map for touring EDM artists. Throughout all this LCO has stuck to its core principles, to be a home for lovers of alternative underground electronica and a platform for local and regional DJ’s to connect and create an atmosphere that welcomes both hardcore EDM fans and newcomers alike.
